How to create and handle events regarding custom custom control in vb.net application?

I am new to asp.net. I have to write code in order to create custom control in vb.net.I want to know how to link that one custom control with that one web application.also how event are handled I want code in vb.net not in c#How to create and handle events regarding custom custom control in vb.net application?
